The class was extremely engaging, half due to the subject matter and half due to Dr. Battle's ability to break down difficult theories in an easily understandable way. More importantly, she was able to relate each theory to a teacher's experience in the classroom. Her spunky personality had everyone in the class hooked. Four 3-4 page homework assignments, six quizzes (she drops two), midterm (take-home essays, in-class exam) and final (take-home essay, in-class exam), and a good amount of reading. Definitely worth it to take the class with Dr. Battle, because she makes herself available for help in and out of class the entire semester, and she really wants to see everyone succeed.
