05/19/2025		Nice guy and clearly knows what he's doing, just made the class harder than it needed to be at points. The other section of broadcast writing did pretty much all their work in class and only had to write scripts without recording any footage. We had to produce three packages and got a lot of homework throughout the semester. Like I said, really nice guy with lots of newsroom experience, you'll learn a lot, he just made this class a little tougher than it needed to be

04/22/2025		Great guy with a lot of news experience, but he made this class much more difficult than it needed to be. I know people in the other section and all of their assignments were in class and there was minimal homework. We were forced to go into the city twice to shoot packages, (once for cherry blossoms and once for giant pandas), in addition to a final project which was making a PKG, VOSOT, VO and RDR for four, unique on-campus stories. He's a good professor and we learned a bunch, but this class is meant to test whether or not you know how to write broadcast scripts, not whether or not you can produce news packages on tight turnaround schedules.
