Expecting a B

01/13/2025		This professor knows his stuff, but this class (which was supposed to be about the 2024 election) had nothing to do with it. We simply watched the news, wrote discussion posts on ELMS, and were expected to participate in discussions each class about what we thought of the news we were assigned to watch- class is not adaptive to different learning styles in this way. He is also an extremely biased professor, and if you do not align with his views, you will not get a good grade. He also accused me of falsifying a quote I took from one of the sources he said we could use for our end-of-the-semester paper, gave that paper an E, and was considering reporting me to the school. I kept telling him I did not and had the exact article, but he refused to let me show it to him... After going back and forth about my grade, I ended up with a B, and because he finally let me show him that article, he realized he was wrong and decided to give me a B- instead of a D.
