| Kanisha Bond GVPT459M Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/20/2020 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester. | Dr. Bond is very passionate and knowledgeable about social movement. She likes to incorporate and talk about relevant social justice issues/current events in the class. Sometimes the readings are a bit dense and scientific but her powerpoints are really good. She is a fairly easy grader if you put in the work and I got an A+ |
| Kanisha Bond GVPT456 Expecting a B admin 12/03/2015 This review was automatically imported from OurUMD. It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | Dr. Bond is one of the best professors I've ever had. She's extremely smart and has a ton of research experience in the field of terrorism. But she's so much more than her resume. She encourages some of the best and most open-minded class discussions I've ever experienced. After the Paris attacks during this semester, we spent a few classes speaking solely about that, using everything we'd learned previously. She threw out her original material, and we talked about that. She gives her students A TON of control over what gets discussed in class, and she really cares about each of her students' viewpoints. |
