| Hamdia Braimah FREN203 Expecting an A admin 01/07/2026 | Walking into this class, I was definitely nervous at first, but the professor made me feel comfortable almost immediately. The course uses a flipped-classroom style, where most of the work is done outside of class and class time is spent practicing speaking. She strongly encourages participation, but it never feels intimidating because everything is very clear, and she corrects mistakes in a kind and supportive way. She is also very fair with grading: as long as you follow the rubric (which is easy to understand), you can expect full credit. The course itself isn’t very difficult for someone at the intermediate level, but it does require consistent work outside of class (at least about 30 minutes a day). Overall, even though the curriculum isn’t really in her control, I was very lucky to have had her as my professor. She genuinely cares about her students and truly wants them to succeed. Take her!!!!!! |

| Hamdia Braimah FREN203 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/07/2025 | I enjoyed this class! Not much of the curriculum was up to prof. Braimah, but she made the classroom enjoyable. Accessible and conversational in office hours, and genuinely interested in us as students. Also very lenient grader/with late work. |
