| Amy Burk ANSC232 Expecting a B+ admin 12/20/2023 | Dr. Burk is one of the best and nicest professors on this campus. She genuinely cares about your academic career and doesn't try to trick you. Her tests are extremely fair, she will never include anything you have not gone over. Attendance is not required in either lecture or lab, but I highly recommend going to both, especially lab because a lot of the material you go over will be found on the lab practical and the midterm exams. She also gives extra credit points and gives you the entire semester to complete it. Amazing professor, highly recommend. |

| Amy Burk ANSC232 Expecting a B+ Anonymous 05/01/2020 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester. | Dr. Burk is one of the best professors i had in my academic career. As an abroad exchange student i took her horse management class and was a bit worried as i had zero background- she had amazing slides, great explanations and always a smiling face and an intelligent attitude. She is the best at her field and i learned a lot. Wish i could stay for one more semester and take more classes with her |

She really knows her stuff about horses and her exams and quizzes are more than fair as long as you attend lecture and read your book. If you don't do very well on an exam you always have the chance to make up your grade with extra credit opportunities. She gives you the entire semester to get extra credit which is extremely generous. If you are interested in horses I would recommend taking this class with her as she really cares about the animals and your learning experience too! |
