01/03/2026		She is such a great instructor to have for this class. The assignments are very step-by-step but she is very helpful and energetic during class, and always provides really constructive and thoughtful feedback. The readings are also pretty easy and she goes through them very thoroughly, and I could actually feel myself becoming a better writer with our assignments. Overall a great experience, even though the class feels like a lot of work (but you can't escape that if you're a history major).

05/29/2024		She is a great teacher and the best history teach I've had at UMD so far. She tries really hard to be enthusiastic and make the class interesting even if the content is a little boring and she helps making a large (12-15 page) research paper very doable. She's also very understanding if you need to turn something in late due to difficult circumstances. Definitely take a class with her if you get the chance.
