| Arundhati Chakraborty PHIL202 Expecting an A admin 08/27/2025 | While the beginning of this course was somewhat unorganized, I attribute that to this being her first class she has ever taught. Overall, she is a great professor. She obviously is very interested in the material and knows deeply about the content which makes her lectures more interesting. She also gives lots of space and time for questions and will gladly spend extra time explaining a concept in depth. Besides the first week being a bit hectic, throughout the course I felt she stayed organized and always sent out announcements if something changed in advance. I do believe the grading was a bit slow for the mid-terms, but the finals was much quicker. She was also very quick to reply to emails. The class itself (I did 6 week summer session) was very manageable and the workload wasn't bad at all. The most stress I had was just doing the final presentation and essay but it wasn't crazy at all. Definitely recommend her as a professor! |
