Expecting an A+

05/01/2025		Super nice and understanding, also lenient to her students. However, class can get often repetitive. I know it is an intro level course so it does not move too fast, but we often repeat combinations for weeks at a time. Additionally, center, which was my favorite part of class, was skipped over a lot in order to work on our final dance piece. Also, rarely gives out personal corrections which can make growth difficult.

05/15/2023		Christina is such a gem. She is really organized and communicates well with her students, and always makes Jazz Dance incredibly fun!! Her Spotify playlists are also amazing. This was such a wonderful experience for me and as someone who came in super inflexible knowing absolutely nothing about dance (yet wanting to learn), I learned SO much and even got my splits. The grading is really clear and the assignments are pretty chill as long as you go to class and get your work done on time. Overall Jazz was a highlight of my semester and I really looked forward to every single class. Come ready to sweat, learn, and have fun! Great class and professor -- definitely take DANC 158 and with Christina (if she's teaching it) if you can :)
