It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | Dieter is really old but he is still good teacher. He's like one of those old timer teachers in the 60's or 50's. As long as you do your work really well, like well written though out essays and neatness and organization like proper headings and font and stuff you will be fine. he might be alittle boring sometimes but the class is a pretty easy upper elective class. You do have to write lenghty papers thought but you should still take it. Also it is a fun fact to note the Dieter was the previous Dean of mechanical engieneering from like the 1950's-1990's then came dean Darrel pines which is current dean. so just cool fun fact to know! (hint, dieter has alot of connections ;) ) |

It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | This man is wise beyond his years. He is quite friendly, and loves to talk to students. However he is quite slow in getting his points across (due to his age). Nonetheless, he is very helpful with the senior design project. |
| George Dieter ENME489Q Expecting a B Anonymous 05/16/2011 This review was automatically imported from OurUMD. It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | Dieter is about 85 years old. He shows an extreme bias to the women in the class, so if you're a girl you're basically set. He really knows what hes talking about, but his classes tend to be a bit on the boring side. I would say hes strict, but fair. The class is pretty useful and interesting overall. |
