| Lauren Edelstein COMM425 Expecting an A+ admin 12/17/2025 | I genuinely feel like my negotiation skills improved significantly from this course, given that we role-played in very realistic negotiation scenarios usually about once a week. Along with these negotiation scenarios, she also gave lectures on new concepts, but I find that I learned much better from the role-plays (along with the planning process prior to the actual negotiations and the post negotiation debrief/assignment). Although she is a bit strict on attendance, and rightfully so, she is very sweet and understanding of students. All in all, if you come to class consistently, you'll be able to succeed. |
| Lauren Edelstein COMM425 Expecting an A+ admin 07/15/2025 | She's very nice, and the class is fair. I enjoyed the role-play activities and was able to see how the concepts we were learning can be applied in an active negotiation. Attendance is mandatory. I found the concepts and skills learned from this class to be useful, and I have already started applying them in the real world. Overall, you will do great if you attend class. |
| Lauren Edelstein COMM425 Anonymous 03/25/2025 | She's nice, but attendance is mandatory, and she'll email you if you don't let her know in advance that you're not coming. The midterm was pretty easy. If you have social anxiety though, maybe don't take this class because you'll be interacting with people every week for role-play negotiations. She does yap A LOT though. |
| Lauren Edelstein COMM426 Expecting an A- admin 01/11/2023 | She's an awesome person and tries to make the class as easy to understand as possible! The class is fairly easy with the in-person midterm being the most difficult thing. As long as you do her weekly participation assignments, you'll do well. |
| Lauren Edelstein COMM426 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 11/24/2021 | Pretty forgiving grader, really understanding, and generally more concerned about students learning than performing. Also a really kind person in general! |
