| Elie Friedman COMM498M Expecting an A admin 12/01/2022 | Though this course was taught asynchronously, I felt that Professor Friedman was helpful and the information was interesting. Even though it's an upper level class, I found it to be an easy A. You have a discussion post and two responses due every week based on that week's lecture, and two major papers - one for the midterm and one for the final. Professor Friedman gives constructive feedback on the papers and always sends out announcements at the beginning of each week with reminders on what's going to be covered in the upcoming week and feedback on the previous week's discussion. Learning about war and peace discourse might not be interesting to everyone, but if that's something that appeals to you, take this class! I feel like I've definitely learned a lot and I can apply this knowledge to future courses. |
