| George Gao BMGT343 Expecting an A- admin 02/06/2026 | Very friendly guy. You don't have to go to class he reads right off the slides that are uploaded to Canvas. His exams are very fair and he posts a lot of optional practice. Your class grade is based off of exams so its important to study the material for them. First exam is the most difficult because its on 6 chapters. |
| George Gao BMGT347 Expecting an A admin 12/20/2025 | Gao is a nice guy and means well, but is an extremely boring and out of touch professor. Showing up to lectures don't matter, our class of 50 turned into the same 15 every class. Even being there felt like a waste of time, he's hard to understand and doesn't explain really anything, just reads off a slide. The content is actually pretty interesting, but not worth taking as a finance elective. |

| George Gao BMGT343 Expecting an A- admin 12/06/2025 | This class is literally all just exams. You will take 4 MC exams throughout the semester that are worth 90% of your grade, so you really need to lock in on those and try to learn the material. Besides that tho class is chill and in-person lecture is kinda useless imo. He's pretty chill overall tho and i'd recommend him to anyone wanting to take the course. |
| George Gao Expecting an A Anonymous 05/14/2025 | You don't have to show up. Review the lecture slides he posts. Review and do the study guides. Problem sets are not graded for accuracy but they do have exam material on them so give them a good try, they aren't hard. As long as you do the study guides, study the material, you'll be totally fine. There are some other minor assignments that he gives out but really easy stuff. |
