05/05/2025		She is a fine professor. She does really care about you as a student. The problem is with the course and not the professor. SQL is inherently a very bland topic. If you have any technical experience at all (cs major, database experience, etc) this class will be a breeze. A majority of the class is just her explaining the logic behind some SQL queries and statements. However, if you inherently understand SQL from previous coursework, the class is a literal joke. The professor is also fine. She is really nice and just wants to try to make the class as easy as possible.

01/03/2025		Professor Gu is truly one of the kindest and most supportive professors I’ve had. She genuinely cares about her students and makes an effort to ensure we understand the material. She is a bit quiet and tends to ramble but she really takes the time during office hours to explain anything you don't understand. Her exams are also open note/book and online. The acts that she gives in class are gone over and the lab is super easy with the TA to help you! Please take her if you can!!
