| Millard Habegger BMGT495 Expecting an A admin 05/21/2025 | Great guy and great professor. It was his first class this past semester because he’s a doctoral student. He really enjoys being there for the students and will do anything to help you out. Don’t know what that other review was talking about because I had friends who had other professors who were actually hard graders. If you do the assignments you should have no problem getting an A in this class. |
| Millard Habegger BMGT495 Expecting a B+ admin 05/15/2025 | He's a nice guy and a very knowledgeable person but not a good professor. He's owned several companies and teaches the course through the lens of an entrepreneur. While he's a successful businessman and knows a lot about startups, he doesn't know how to teach a class. Slides are vague and most of the information is said out loud (but lectures aren't recorded), instructions for major projects are vague, and while he encourages students to be creative in their assignments, he's a very harsh grader. I wasn't able to get above an 80% on the weekly essays because he said my writing sounds "too much like AI". Overall, while he's a nice person, I wouldn't recommend taking the course with him if other professors are available. He doesn't provide good instructions for assignments, he grades harshly, lectures are unorganized, and I didn't feel like I learned anything. |
