Have fun with the essays and zine assignment, and do your discussion, and you should get a good grade. Hagen is a good professor and knows her stuff, so if you're interested in arts and feminism, take the class, if not, still take the class if you have to do the work! |
| Damien Hagen WGSS250 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/13/2024 | Made the class hard for no reason. Graded the projects/papers harshly and pulled down my participation grade to give me an A-... |
| Damien Hagen WGSS250 Expecting a B- admin 08/29/2024 | She lowered my participation grade after the semester ended and also curved the class DOWN. My grade dropped substantially, even lower than a B-. |
| Damien Hagen WGSS200 Expecting an A+ admin 12/20/2023 | This class was a lot of work for an asynchronous class, but it wasn’t hard work. Stay on top of things, and take good notes to refer to later and it is an easy A. Final project and midterm will be easy if u keep up on readings. Nothing too hard, but I really was not interested in the content. Take it as an easy asynchronous gened but not for fun. Damien was communicative and nice, but since it was asynchronous, o never interacted with the prof face to face |
| Damien Hagen WGSS200 Expecting an A Anonymous 10/30/2023 | i am in a reading-intensive major and have never had this much reading to do before. i expected this to be a lighter class because of past reviews...this class does not have a light workload. discussion boards, 3-8 readings a week of varying lengths, weekly quizzes, and later in the semester outside assignments/projects/papers. i also took this as an elective so it is out of my usual realm of study. however, i will say the professor is nice (this class was asynchronous), and the assignments were not too difficult to do; my issue was with the time commitment that comes along with the class. if you are not worried about that and are passionate about the course material, you will be fine |
| Damien Hagen LGBT200 Expecting an A- admin 05/26/2022 | The course is generally easy. You need to read and write things every week. Final paper is not very easy and I got around 83/100, a bad score. If you want to get an A, be careful and try your best to write good articles. |
| Damien Hagen WGSS200 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/07/2021 | Incredible professor. Super knowledgeable about all the course content. He really cares about his students' success and comprehension. The course is not very demanding - weekly discussion boards, readings for each class, a midterm, and a final project. This is the MOST amazing class I have ever taken. Highly recommend the course and the content!! |
| Damien Hagen LGBT200 Expecting an A Anonymous 07/24/2020 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester. | Really chill professor. Very minimal effort needed, just make sure you participate. Had 2 exams and 2 5-page papers. |
