Expecting a B-

05/05/2023		She is a nice professor, but its clear she does not know how to really teach outside of the law school. There is a heavy amount of content that there are not the best organization provided for, and we have to take extremely difficult exams (open note) that it is close to impossible to get a good grade on even though it would be more effective to test our knowledge through papers or projects instead with this type of material. Even though it seems she curves the class, it is very irritating that the class is so unorganized and fairly badly executed, since the material can be so interesting if there was more engagement and spacing of the material. There are no other assignments for this class besides the two exams (impossible to do well on) and a final project/paper, so your grade can easily be screwed. My GPA is definetely getting pulled down because of this class even though I had the potential to do well with the material, it is just due to the terrible structure and style of the class. Professor Hoffmann is really nice, but needs to understand the undergraduate system more before she continues teaching this class.
