| Mike Hoffmeyer BMGT461M Expecting an A+ Anonymous 03/06/2025 | Goated professor! He is very straightforward and teaches concisely and introduced entrepreneurship in lots of fun ways! You initially work with a team for 2 days to quickly create a startup (that will 99% fail), and then use the Exec online course to actually learn some fundamentals of entrepreneurship. After learning the fundamentals (or as you learn), you try creating a startup again with a new team with your newfound knowledge and present your entrepreneurial experience with your team at the end of the semester. Super fun class, especially since I had a chatty teammate who made the prof laugh, and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting and listening to them throughout the semester. Feel free to ask the prof questions because he's got a ton of advice and stories as an entrepreneur and the dingman center's managing director |
| Mike Hoffmeyer BMGT461M Expecting an A+ admin 01/30/2025 | The way the course is structured actually helps in understanding the process of creating a startup. The professor tries his best to engage the class and provide enough opportunities to work with other people in the class. Solid professor, honestly decent experience. |
| Mike Hoffmeyer BMGT461M Expecting an A+ admin 12/13/2024 | BMGT461M is the first course for the entrepreneurship and innovation minor. I felt that this course was a bit mundane and included a lot of busy work. We used a online platform, called Exec throughout the class and were given about 2-3 assignments per week. The professor graded things by completion except for the problem validation and solution validation assignments, which were worth 35% of our grade each. |
