| Zenzele Isoke WGSS200 Expecting a B Anonymous 12/23/2025 | The class is easy in the sense that you don't necessarily have to do any of the readings to get through the class. It can just be a bit boring, and some of the topics can be a bit absurd and out there. She is also an extremely picky grader, but the upside is she only gave us about 3 actual assignments and 3 essays, and she ended up canceling the midterm. |
| Zenzele Isoke WGSS250 Expecting a B- admin 07/03/2025 | I would NOT recommend, entirely based off the fact that not only is the work incredibly tedious but the grading is extremely nitpicky. The majority of assignments are written responses/essays about pieces of art or pieces we've read about but if your thought process doesn't directly align with hers it is somehow wrong. Not only is it wrong but the point deduction knocks your grade back so heavily. The disorganization of the class was extremely infuriating and the only good thing I have to say about WGSS250 was that my TA was so sweet and understanding but other than that, save yourself the headache and take literally ANYTHING else. |
| Zenzele Isoke AASP298I Expecting an A- Anonymous 09/05/2024 | Whoa. I learned so much every single day in class. Never a boring day. This woman lives and breaths black feminist brilliance |
| Zenzele Isoke WGSS290 Expecting an A+ admin 08/23/2023 | I took this class over the summer and I would NOT recommend. Professor Isoke was completely unorganized. The majority of this class is discussion posts and analysis essays of art from the readings. The discussion posts were easy to get full credit, but the essays had totally arbitrary grading with no rubric and no prompt. The professor fumbled the ball every week in one way or another. Assignment submissions were missing, assignments were changed without notice, and there was very little communication. She is the absolute most unprepared professor I have ever had. I do feel like I learned something because the readings were relevant to the course but I would never recommend this professor to a friend. |
