Desi Jones PSYC355 Expecting an A admin 12/05/2024	I think Dr. Jones is a really good professor. I think her lecturing is very clear and the pacing is good, and she also does a really good job not making us feel dumb when we mess up on the clicker questions. In her office hours she's really approachable and nice, and is good at explaining things.
Desi Jones PSYC355 Expecting an A admin 12/05/2024	This class included chapter quizzes, in-class activities, and three exams that were all relatively easy. This was Dr. Jones first semester teaching the class and I think she did a good job being understanding to students and not causing extra stress. There are in class questions, making class attendence mandatory but you get three drops so it is easy to get all the particpation points.
Desi Jones PSYC355 Expecting an A admin 11/22/2024	Class is relatively easy, but Dr. Jones is a very boring lecturer. She pretty much reads off the slides, so it can get so boring, especially if you have an early class time. She posts all of the slides and lectures too which would make the class skippable, but attendance is mandatory. She gives you 3 classes to skip all semester and there are participation points every class, and she is not understanding at all if you have to miss class for a valid reason and you already exceeded the limit. We also have in class activities that we never have time for because she talks a lot so those are basically homeworks. All exams are open note but honestly hard if you just rely on your notes. She also has guest lecturers do her work for her a lot and one time the lecturer didn't even show so everyone got up early for nothing. I wouldn't take her again, but also the class isn't hard so it isn't the worst.
