| Alireza Khaligh ENEE612 Expecting a B Anonymous 05/20/2024 | Writes a lot of equations on the board every lecture. He is average in explaining what is going on but what really makes his class good is that what he chooses to write on the board is very helpful. He does not skip steps so you do not need to go fishing for material in other places when doing the homework. Make sure to capture all of it and study the notes and you will do fine in Dr. Khaligh's class. |
| Alireza Khaligh ENEE476 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/20/2021 | Not bad, not great. I really did not like his teaching style which consisted primarily of ejaculating dozens of equations for 75 minutes straight, however I definitely learned a lot about Solar and Wind. I thought the class would be more "marco" I guess, talking about where you should build solar farms and the challenges of offshore wind, but instead it was more "micro", focusing on inverters, AC machines, DC/DC converters etc. I do appreciate the fact that Alireza has no problem giving everyone an A if they earn it. He is very generous on grading and constantly says you should not worry about your grade in his class, which I found to be true. |
