| Jeremy Kunkel ARTT200 Expecting a B admin 12/12/2025 | Take this class! He is compassionate and a wonderful prof, he really was understanding of my situation when I fell behind and worked out a plan for us so I could pass his class. This was the first prof who I really connected with and felt heard me out, he will show you how to manage and operate basic tools and be very understanding of the skill level you are at. - 5-6 projects - Crits are open ended and take a majority of the 3 hours. |
| Jeremy Kunkel ARTT100 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/10/2022 | Kunkel is a fairly easy grader and gives food feedback in a way that feels constructive. The 2.5-hour long class feels like it's longer than it is but some days you can leave early and do the rest at home. The lectures are a lot especially if you already know the elements of art and he tends to just talk about the same thing over and over. Other than that, strongly recommend him. |
| Jeremy Kunkel ARTT100 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/05/2022 | I only took this class because it was required for my major. I am not the best drawer, but have some experience and Kunkel is a fairly easy/understanding grader. He understands that not everyone is on the same level of skill and grades by effort. I never stayed for the full 2.5-hour class, and do the rest of my work at home and everything was fine. He is a very nice man with good intentions of helping his students grow and learn, but he can tend to talk... A LOT when giving demos/presentations. |
| Jeremy Kunkel ARTT200 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/27/2019 | Jeremy is a great professor! Taking this class, I was apprehensive at first, because I've never liked sculpture much. But Jeremy was really helpful during each stage of my projects--as long as you let him know when you're struggling, he's always happy to help you find solutions for whatever you're trying to do. I went into one project with little idea of how to execute it, but by the end of it I'd learned how to use multiple new tools and I was really happy with the result! |
