| Dylan Lewis ENGL265 Expecting an A admin 01/08/2026 | Honestly one of the best professors I have ever had at UMD. He is funny, very smart and knowledgeable and understanding. He told us that he was moving to work at Emory after he got a position there. UMD should be sad to lose him!! If he is still there you should take courses with him |

We had a lot of fun assignments throughout the semester and he really lets our creativity shine and loves hearing from our perspectives and experiences. If you're queer identifying, you'll definitely find something in this class that you enjoy or relate to. There are sometimes a lot of readings but honestly I didn't do all of them and I was fine because we talked in small groups first before opening it up to the floor. |

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! he is chill, funny, knows a lot, and assigns fun things to do in class. sometimes there is a lot of reading but its usually interesting stuff and he doesn't put you on the spot, we usually talk in small groups first. |

A fair amount of reading but we engaged with different types of media (novels, graphic novels, board games, video games, movies, tv shows, music, etc.) throughout the course, so the reading never got to be tiring or tedious. Flexible assignments that allowed you to be creative. |
