I was interested in the course, but Prof Logan didn't organize the class very well: point values of assignments were changed the day they were due and she had a hard time deciding what assignments to give. There are two tests, several small papers, and two large papers, along with several books to read.

The class consists of discussing the reading every day, taking one test and writing two papers. She really wants her students to enjoy the assigned books and promotes learning from peers by giving everyone a chance to speak and explain their opinions. Take this class if you can.

She didnt give any tests (except a final), but gave a quiz on the readings every week in discussion; nothing too bad. We had one paper which wasnt bad either. Just read and attend class and it will be easy.
