She is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and manages to be enthusiastic about every piece of French literature we studied (which amazes me because Symbolist and Surrealist poetry was the lousiest stuff I have ever read). She is also really nice about turning in things late or not having enough time to prepare the readings, so I would definitely advise you take her class. It's a lot of work, but my French skills improved significantly after taking her class.
