| Jennifer Newsham THET222 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/22/2025 | I don't know how to describe her. She's such a character. She clearly cares a lot about the class, the content, and the classroom environment as well. The 10am push-ups were rough, and some of the writings/readings (especially the turnaround time on the Audition book) were rough as well. She tries to create a community within the classroom, and I would argue it worked very well. Actor Lit exams are rough. Coordinate with your classmates as much as possible for those. Quizlet is your best friend. 222 is a harder class than you expect. As far as I know, that's true for every professor. Jen gives lots of assignments with mildly unclear grading, but also lots of opportunities for extra credit. I ended above 100% easily. The worst part of class was easily being forced to see Deepe Darknesse. I don't know if I'd take a class with Jen again, but that's not because of her as a professor, just more that I don't know if I love her vibes. |
