10/28/2024		it's a fair class. i was definitely lost and did poorly on the early quizzes, but once you spend a weekend and a couple hours practicing every homework, it clicks and you get it. Around 4 classes in the middle semester will be computer lab assignments/classes that are time-consuming but not really hard (data-entry).

05/17/2023		O'Connell is a great professor. He is clear and easy to understand and does plenty of examples in class. Gives plenty of practice homework alongside their solutions and is more than happy to answer questions. Exams felt fair and he has a review sessions before the midterm and final that clearly lay out what will be on them. There are no surprises in this class. The class does require you to practice but its pretty low stress overall. I would totally recommend O'Connell.
