| Darren Pierre ENES472 Expecting an A+ admin 08/01/2025 | He is really into what he teaches. Doesn't assign excess busy work, and the assignments are actually pretty interesting. Always leaves really detailed feedback on all work submitted. Really nice dude, would definitely take another class with him in a heartbeat. |
| Darren Pierre ENES472 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 06/02/2025 | dr. pierre is definitely an interesting lecturer, although i don't have too much personal interest in the course content. the class itself was pretty chill, the main thing is that most of your grade relied on two major assignments due at the end of the semester--both of them ended up being graded pretty leniently, but it was a bit annoying to have that uncertainty throughout the entire semester of what your grade would be |
| Darren Pierre ENES317 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 06/02/2025 | this class felt sort of tedious, although dr. pierre definitely does his best to try to keep students engaged or interested. attendance was supposed to be mandatory (i went to all lectures), but i don't know if any students got penalized for skipping. there aren't many assignments, but there are several group projects which were all graded leniently. there were also two papers which were graded more strictly, but he did also provide extra credit on certain assignments so that balanced it out |
| Darren Pierre ENES317 admin 02/11/2025 | Don't usually go to class, but this one was def worth going to. Great content and super interesting to listen to. |
| Darren Pierre ENES317 Expecting an A+ admin 12/27/2023 | This class is a joke when it comes to a grade. I got a 102.5% in the class. Dr. Pierre is extremely nice and really cares about each student and their well being. Class is an easy A I would recommend it or any class with Pierre to you. |
| Darren Pierre ENES317 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/25/2023 | Dr. Pierre is very passionate about his leadership course. He is always full of energy during his presentations and is very knowledgeable of the topics covered. Most of the assignments in the course are very simple and straightforward, and the two quizzes we had were open-notes. You should note before taking his course that (1) he opted not to share his lecture slides, so you have to either take note or take pictures of the slides and (2) the class asks for quite a bit of involvement, so be prepared to do some activities during class. All in all, this is an easy course where you get exposure to different kinds of leadership models. I would recommend this course. |
| Darren Pierre ENES472 Expecting an A admin 05/05/2023 | Really really friendly. Takes material seriously. If you do your work and display care, you'll succeed. He's super great to talk to and you can always ask him for advice or for help if you don't understand something or want some suggestions on how to do something. Great professor. |
