| Robert Ragsdale PHIL366 Expecting an A+ admin 05/21/2025 | Ragsdale was a really strong professor. Chill guy, willing to hear you out. His slides were helpful, but he stopped posting online because lecture had terrible attendance. He lectured well and allowed for a lot of the class time to be discussion. This course material was very interesting. The first half or more is just working through Kim's textbook, which is supremely readable, while also reading some primary sources/papers directly related to the week's Kim reading. The second half is more applied papers on conspiracy theories, political beliefs, etc. We had 5 reading responses for the semester--basically free 100s. Just read and write an earnest 1ish page response. We also had a midterm exam, a short mid-semester paper and either a final exam or a long final paper to end. The grading was fairly lenient based on the Elms distributions being like 80-98. No real complaints. |
