| Mark Roberts CMSC722 Expecting an A- admin 12/24/2024 | Great course! I put this in just for qualification but got more than I expected. Recommend if you are interested in the AI field. Pros: - The course structure is clear - Quizzes and HW are helpful for understanding the material. - Lectures recorded - Exams have take-home parts, which encourages to you apply knowledge instead of remembering concepts. - Course project is nicely-organized and I did learn something from it. Cons: - He made some concepts a bit ambiguous, which could be fine since this seems to be his first semester teaching this course. Normally those will be corrected in the following week so it is not that big a problem. - Take-home exams takes a LOT of time - well, not a big issue for me some of my classmates complained about that. Kind of tradeoff, so double consider if you dislike a take-home exams which could takes you tons of hours. |
