04/22/2021 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester.		Guilhem has honestly been my favorite professor at UMD so far. Especially in the online setting, he was really well adapted and properly planned out every lesson. We had really engaging discussion sections and covered topics that taught us about both the French language and francophone culture. I cannot stress enough how enjoyable this class was. The homework assignments were easy to get through and allowed multiple attempts, as the focus really was learning and not grade anxiety. Seriously a highlight of my undergraduate experience, and I'm not even a French major.
