| Elizabeth Schurgin ARHU340 Expecting an A admin 12/20/2024 | Liz was overall a good professor for ARHU340 (Financial Entrepreneurship for Arts Leaders). She was very nice and got to know everyone's name in the class which I really liked. She also did a good job connecting with students. I feel like as a professor she did a good job with the content she was assigned to teach, but the course felt very basic and I can't say that I learned a ton from it. Liz is currently an Executive Director at a nonprofit organization and formerly worked with the D.C. Youth Orchestra. The class is very focused on musicians so it may not be as applicable for students interested in other types of art. ARHU340 covers very basic topics of arts entrepreneurship and has a major final project where you and a team put together a presentation and a business plan. |
