| Neil Sehgal HLSA300 Expecting an A admin 08/12/2023 | Dr. Sehgal (and the rest of the teaching team) did a great job with explaining all the content for this course. Lectures were online and prerecorded, exams were online and fully open note (which is very nice), and discussions were in person. Discussions felt a bit pointless sometimes, but hey, easy assignments are free points. Really my only complaint is the sheer amount of content in this course. It feels important- understanding how healthcare and health insurance works is probably one of the most useful things you'll learn in college- but the lectures contain so much content that isn't strictly necessary for you to know for the course. If you do consistently take notes on the lectures, expect to spend 3+ hours on 45 minutes worth of lecture videos. |
| Neil Sehgal HLSA300 Expecting an A- admin 05/11/2023 | quizzes and tests are pretty easy. All lectures are online and open book/note. You only interact with the TA in person since he lectures asynchronously online. Attendance isn't taken but some group work happens and parts are assigned in class so attendance is good. |
