| Pablo Slutzky BUFN717 Expecting an A+ admin 12/11/2025 | By far the best professor at smith. He genuinely cares for his students and its a privilege to learn from him. I would say for this class pick a good team that knows how to do financial statment analysis. But in terms of professor quality, you will be lucky to have him |
| Pablo Slutzky BUFN710 Expecting an A- admin 04/30/2025 | One of the best professors at the Smith School. Great educator, funny, kind, and genuinely cares. Always looked forwards to his class. |
| Pablo Slutzky Anonymous 05/07/2024 | The other review is an absolute joke, don't let it sway you away from arguably one of the best professors at Smith. Pablo is extremely passionate about ensuring that all of his students understand the course content. He is approachable, understanding, and charismatic. He fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment. The one thing I will agree with the other reviewer is about participation, he takes it very seriously, but as long as you show up and ask questions now and then, he will remember your name, and you'll be fine. |
| Pablo Slutzky BUFN710 Expecting a B Anonymous 08/05/2021 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester. | Class consists mostly of group cases and a final. The cases were way harder than the lecture material but were graded relatively easily. The final was a take home case and was graded a bit harder than the group cases. 30% of the grade was participation, which he took VERY seriously- the average participation grade for the class was a failing grade. Since everything else was graded relatively easily and the class was curved your grade is basically determined by how much you participate. Lectures were relatively simple and easy to follow but didn't really prepare me for the cases/final. |
