05/27/2021 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester.		If you have the chance to choose, take Professor Strahan's studio section! As the first studio, it was definitely a rough transition and a bit overwhelming, but Professor Strahan was very open, welcoming and accommodating for students! She brought such a good energy to every class; she gave great feedback that was constructive and encouraging. She also encouraged us to connect with one another and promoted smaller groups during class so we could converse and collaborate. She cares not only about the work we produce but the student's well-being, whether that meant doing asynchronous work some days or having casual discussions and rest time built in. I was so lucky to have her for studio, as she wants everyone to succeed!!
