| Mona Thompson TLTC333 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/04/2025 | super easy class. There are only 3 in person classes and the rest is asynchronous work that took me less than 30 min a week where you write maybe 1-2 paragraphs or you can submit a video response or a noter medium. There are 2 reflection papers (or like slideshows she has many options not just a paper) which are very straightforward. She is very accommodating and you have a 24hr grace period for assignments. |
| Mona Thompson IDEA201 Expecting an A+ admin 05/10/2024 | I had Mona and Mira, for IDEA201, and they were great! They were super understanding and you can genuinely see their love for teaching. The course itself was in person, once a week, and was very interactive (If you aren't one to socialize, maybe take the online course). You are allowed to miss 2 class days (no questions asked), anything more you will need to speak with them. Like mentioned before this is a very interactive class, majority of the time you will be asked to speak with someone and interact with the activity. Sometimes the lectures/activities could be very tedious, but for a course it is an easy A. For me, I wish it were hybrid because sometimes having to come around 2:30-3:45 was tiring and felt like a long day. But this course is great for a 1 credit/extra course you may need. |
| Mona Thompson TLTC333 Expecting an A+ admin 11/05/2023 | There's like 3 types of assignments: Weekly Reflections, Reflections (midterm papers), and participation. 3 in person meetings that take an hour, the reflections take ~15-20 min a week? It's like 2-3 paragraphs of writing. I always got it in 10-15 min DURING the class I was AMP'ng for. The midterm papers (3 overall) -> First took like 20 min, second took like 1 hr + 1 hr in class revisions + 20 min after, last took 2-3 hrs + 1 hr in class. This class is easy AF. Mona hella chill too, gives extensions and such if you need. |
