09/01/2025		Dr. Tsong is an excellent professor. She takes no nonsense and expects a lot from her students. Having taken piano lessons with her for many semesters, I have grown a lot as an artist.

12/06/2023		Tsong is so disorganized and rude. Her lectures are all over the place and difficult to follow because there is little to no visual element to them. She sent out "lecture notes" through email that were copied and pasted from wikipedia. She always changes scheduled classes/assignments last minute. She talks down to students and makes them feel stupid for asking a question. During one take-home exam, she sent out the wrong exam first without the students knowing so everyone took the incorrect exam and then she later found out it was an old exam and she sent out the correct one and made us basically take two. At the end of the semester, she just stopped lecturing and had us watch youtube videos in class and read articles.

05/15/2022		An incredibly rude and inconsiderate professor. Out of all the music professors/teachers in my entire life, I have never dreaded coming to a class more than hers. Oftentimes, disorganized. In regards to teaching, incredibly discouraging and teaches with an abrasive and unfriendly style. Way too much of a hassle to study under; I would highly advise studying under someone else.
