| Alexander Willie UNIV100 Expecting an A+ admin 11/14/2024 | Taking UNIV100 was genuinely one of the most rewarding parts of my semester. From the first day, it was clear that Willie genuinely loves teaching and is fully invested in helping students thrive. He encouraged us to stay engaged, reassuring us that as long as we actively participated, we wouldn’t need to stress about grades. I left each class with a deeper understanding of Limited Enrollment Programs (LEPs) and crucial insights for navigating college, especially since our class was full of Letters and Sciences students aiming for engineering (specifically computer science mainly.) Beyond just teaching, he was also our advisor which was amazing. His guidance and support made the transition into college much smoother, and he’s truly someone who’s there for you beyond the classroom. I strongly recommend this class to anyone looking for a helpful, welcoming environment to start their college journey. Not only was it incredibly helpful, but it’s also a great way to make friends. I loved it so much that I’m planning to return as a TA next fall! |
