12/17/2024		Dr. Xiao is great. He really is passionate about his lectures and cares about his students. His exams were really fair considering how much information they covered. The class is a great upper level animal science if you need one and definitely one that you can do well on.

12/04/2024		Dr. Xiao is super nice and would always pause to ask if people had questions. I felt really comfortable asking questions in his class and it's obvious he's very passionate about what he teaches. His exams are very fair and follow the course objectives very closely. He has you focus on the big picture, is generally lenient in grading, and the content is very interesting. You get to learn about stuff you see in your everyday life, like what actually happens during an allergic reaction, cancer, HIV/AIDS, vaccines, etc. Get ready to study, there's a lot to learn, but it's a level 400 course so that's expected.

05/01/2020 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester.		He is a very nice professor, full of knowledge in his field but he was disoriented with his explanations and hard to take notes to. Fair tests but attendance is important to him (immunology course)
