Expecting an A

05/20/2022		This was one of my favorite classes at UMD. Dr. Yates was very passionate about the subject. Teaching it at such a relevant time made the class even more interesting. A good amount of reading was assigned but they are very interesting readings and they teach you a lot about the subject. Quizzes are based on readings so it is important to do every week's worth of assigned reading material. She is a fair grader and as long as you do the readings and participate the exams are fairly easy. We had a case study presentation project which was very fun. I could not recommend this class more! What we learn can be triggering and frightening but it is a necessary subject to educate ourselves on. She does a good job of warning us about triggers and letting us know we can step out of the classroom if we need to.
