| Caren Yglesias LARC263 Expecting an A Anonymous 09/04/2025 | i took this class as a gen ed as someone with previous landscape knowledge/interest, and loved it. the class was composed of undergrads taking the course as a gen ed, and landscape architecture graduate students, making for lots of cool perspectives and great discussion. i would say that as long as you go to class, do your work, and communicate with caren, you will get a good grade. she is extremely flexible and understanding, and teaches in a very engaging way. i highly recommend this course. |
| Caren Yglesias LARC263 Expecting an A+ admin 05/06/2025 | Such a fun, sweet, and interesting professor. Took this as a GenEd, and it was my favorite class. Most of the work is post-lecture quizzes once a week and a chapter note paper once a week. There is no final or midterm, just two case study projects that you do in the middle and end of the year. The first one is a slideshow that you present, while the second one is also a slideshow you also provide notes so your peer can analyze and critique your paper. Overall, pretty easy class, you just need to keep track of your work! |
