| Steven Young admin 11/20/2024 | Very strange, condescending, spits when he talks, not very personable. Does not give any leeway in terms of extra credit and/or late assignments. Class is 100% busy work. |
| Steven Young PSYC303 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 07/15/2024 | This was a very easy 1 credit course about professional development as a psychology major. There were modules to review every week, and you needed to complete three short quizzes over the course of the semester. There were a few small assignments like writing a practice letter of rec request and was overall very easy - need to put in some work because he actually reads the discussion posts but it is a pretty guaranteed A+ |
| Steven Young UNIV100 Expecting an A+ admin 12/18/2023 | Easy class with a decent amount of busy work. Take him if you want a free a as long as you do the work and participate in class. Only problem was that he can be a little strange in lecture and loud. You would sometimes see spit coming out of his mouth as he talks. |
| Steven Young UNIV100 Expecting an A+ admin 12/10/2023 | Course: Really easy course, the material is pretty boring but actually helpful if you ever wonder how something works or need to find something within UMD. Attendance is mandatory. Really easy A as long as you have common sense. Breakdown: - Assignments (18), 100%, all very easy, some quizzes, some activities for exploration, just complete them and do well and you’re good. Professor: Talks pretty loud, so the first class takes most people by surprise. Really nice guy, loves when people participate and contribute to the conversation at hand. My class was from 3:30-5:20, but the latest we ever stayed in class was until 4:30 PM, most times it was only 45 minutes. Really prioritizes mental health and the well-being of his students. Would recommend him to anyone! |
| Steven Young UNIV100 Expecting an A- Anonymous 11/15/2021 | Great teacher, very straightforward with his work. The only reason I have an A- and not an A or A+ is bc I missed a few assignments, but that was my fault. He is an easy professor and you won't regret taking him. As I said, just do the work on time and participate in class and you will be fine. |
| Steven Young UNIV100 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/18/2020 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester. | Not bad at all. Really nice guy and very considerate. The work may feel like its a 3 credit class but it gives you some good information on how to navigate the school resources. You wont regret taking him |
