| Neal Ziring HACS498 Expecting an A admin 05/20/2025 | This guy teaches the course as a seminar. There are assignments, but they aren't graded. The papers he gives out to read are a little bit complex, and some of the guest lectures can be confusing. The final project was flexible, which was nice. Attendance also wasn't mandatory for the online classes, and the final presentation is in person. He's also very open to answering questions during office hours and is very helpful in general. |
| Neal Ziring HACS498 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/23/2022 | I took this course in Fall 2022 Pros: + Basically no HW, HW assigned is not checked + In fact, the only graded assignment is the final presentation + The lecture is scheduled based on everyone's time preferences, so you have some control over when the class happens. If you absolutely can't make it, he's understanding of that fact + Easy A Cons: - Honestly, the course feels very unfocused in direction, it's unclear if we're supposed to be taking notes or not - The final presentation is in person, at a building 30 minutes away from campus. Additionally, it was on reading day |
