Prerequisite: C- or better in BSCI222 and BSCI353; or permission of the instructor. Sponsoring Dept.:Biol). Acceptable towards Biological Sciences Specialization Areas: GENB (Genetics & Evolution), CEBG, and PHNB. The brain generates a tremendous variety of behaviors, but how it achieves these feats remains largely unknown. This course will focus on the use of molecular genetic approaches to understand the brain circuits underlying behavior.
