Selected Topics in Germanic Studies; The Great Derangement: Climate, Art, and Literature

This course explores the relationship between climate change and art & literature, with an emphasis on rethinking the relationship between humans and the natural world. Materials to be studied include novels, poems, earth history, films, performances, climate science, photographs, exhibitions, protests, and theoretical texts. Taught in English.
