"Maker Movement" Approach to Computing; Provocative Storytelling with Imagery and Data

students in the College Park Scholars Data Justice Program (CPDJ). Introduces students to the fundamentals of visual storytelling using static and dynamic media across 2D, 3D, and immersive environments. Through hands-on projects and critical discussions, students will explore what makes a visual "strong," how to capture time and perspective, and how to blend the real with the unreal-including the use of AI-generated imagery and holograms.
