| Mong-Han Huang GEOL200 Expecting a B+ admin 12/13/2025 | mong-han is really nice and has a lot of personal experience with his lecture topics, so he is very knowledgeable about the subject and it can make for some interesting stories. geol200 as a class though, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. the first half of the semester was fine- the course load was more than manageable- but once you get to the final project it all goes downhill. it was a group project (presentation and 1700-2000 word paper) and it was WAY more advanced than the material we were actually learning in class, plus we had little to no guidance in advance, leaving us with really only a week to work on it. and on top of that we still have an actual exam to study for less than a week after the final presentations... |
| Mong-Han Huang GEOL200 Expecting an A admin 12/04/2025 | Mong-Han is a super nice professor, and you can tell he is really knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He taught the second half of the semester, but sometimes lecture is a little boring because he goes on little tangents when he gets really into a topic, not a bad thing though. This class has little work honestly: one exam besides the final, a couple participation quizzes here and there, no homework. However, expect to be unprepared for the final project, NOT HIS FAULT AT ALL, honestly is the TA's fault. |
| Mong-Han Huang GEOL446 Anonymous 12/24/2022 | Mong-Han is great! I had him for structural and geophysics. I enjoyed the interesting stories he would tell during class although they did sometimes make the lectures a bit more difficult to follow. Exams were very fair he is super helpful in office hours. Would definitely recommend! |
