| Jennifer McCatharn EDSP401 Expecting an A+ admin 12/27/2025 | I really enjoyed this class with Dr. McCatharn. Being a general education teacher, I found what was covered in class interesting and was easily able to see how it is applicable to my career. There are times when we are in a "scene," where the class is meant to be students in an elementary classroom. However, sometimes she can talk down to us outside of those scenarios. It can come off as condescending and unnecessary. However, the activities and work done in class were great and very useful as I continue through my career. I truly did enjoy this class, even if there were some issues with Dr. McCatharn. |
| Jennifer McCatharn EDSP401 Expecting an A admin 12/17/2025 | Very great class! Professor McCatharn used many metaphors and experiences to help keep us engaged with the work. Her class is very interactive and has a lot of group projects. However, her assignments are very long and it's best to not procrastinate on them. She is very passionate and the class is easy if you pay attention. |
| Jennifer McCatharn EDSP632 Expecting an A admin 12/08/2025 | Professor McCatharn is accommodating and flexible. She offers a lot of choice and freedom in terms of how we want to present our assignments. She provides a lot of guided notes and assignments, which were helpful for me personally. She is a great lecturer too; she often gave us real life examples and encouraged us to share our own. Overall, I'd highly recommend her. Her assignments and grading are straightforward and relevant if you are becoming a teacher. |
| Jennifer McCatharn EDSP401 Expecting an A+ admin 12/06/2024 | This is a great course; it basically is about teaching students with disabilities, & you learn about the history of different laws, all the different types of disabilities, & how to accommodate students with disabilities. Professor McCatharn is a really nice & chill professor, & you can tell she loves what she does. She is really accommodating & flexible. The assignments are easy as well & not too much work. |
