Geetha Ramani EDHD411 Expecting an A admin 12/27/2025	I really enjoyed my time with Dr. Ramani. She is genuinely so sweet and caring. You could really skip the class; there's nothing on the exams that can't be found in the PowerPoint. The only thing you would be missing is the 3-4 in-class activities throughout the semester. However, I did like my time with her. She created some great class discussions that allowed us to reflect on our own life experiences. She's a great professor, and I highly recommend taking this class with her.
Geetha Ramani EDHD411 Expecting an A admin 12/01/2025	She's really sweet and knows what she's talking about. The content is fairly interesting and can definitely be applied outside the classroom. I didn't really pay attention in her lectures, just went through the PPTs on my own, but you can't really skip the class because she has random in-class activities that are graded. Obviously sitting in any class for an hour with a professor talking at you is always going to be boring, but she at least has a very positive personality and encourages questions and discussion. Overall, I think this is a really good gen ed to take and she's a very understanding professor.
Geetha Ramani EDHD413 Expecting an A admin 11/20/2024	Such a kind person. I highly recommend taking this class with her! She takes information that can be really dense and is able to break it down really well, and is always encouraging discussion in class. There is a midterm, final exam, and a group project. Just make sure you take good notes not only on the slides, but also what she says. Some of the minor details can pop up on the midterm or final exam.
Geetha Ramani EDHD411 Expecting a B+ admin 05/28/2023	I genuinely loved Dr. Ramani’s class. She truly knows what she’s talking about and is interesting to listen to. This is a required class for many education majors but I promise you do not need to be worried. Just stay on top of the work and you’ll be fine. She grades pretty easy and she’s super understanding. If you’re struggling, make sure you talk to her since she’ll want to help as best as she can.

Professor Ramani is okay. Her voice is pretty monotonous and lecture is not that interesting, but she knows what she's talking about. When we had discussions in class, that was more interesting. She's just interested in everyone's opinion. Her lecture outlines are posted online, but she usually fleshes them out in lecture, so its helpful to go. Don't bother buying the textbook, I never opened it. She doesn't test on anything from the book, only lecture. Overall, very easy class.
