| Ichiro Takeuchi PHYS431 Expecting an A admin 05/08/2023 | He is an average professor. As other reviews have commented, he is a good lecturer and explains things well. He writes everything down, making it easy to review material that may have been forgotten. However, his homeworks were rough. They often did not relate to lecture topics, and the textbook rarely had information relating to the relevant topics. This necessitated students to research online for material and explanations for homework topics. Exams were fair, and he was understanding of deadlines. However, he is not very helpful with answering questions over email so ideally ask him questions after the lecture. |
| Ichiro Takeuchi ENMA460 Expecting a B+ admin 12/15/2015 This review was automatically imported from OurUMD. It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | He explains everything well and writes everything he says on the board so taking notes is easy and thorough. He's also always willing to stop and answer questions. Homeworks can be tough, but the previous year's solutions will usually have what you need. Tests are pretty tough, again find previous tests and solutions because he reuses a decent amount of stuff. Overall nothing special but he's a solid professor and his class is very fair. |
